| A plague and famine have fallen on the Winter Kingdom, and an
invading force is gathering from the Northern Sea. Behind this threat is a dark sprit mage
who wields blood magic of ancient, vanquished gods. From a country that has been
devastated by civil war Summoner-King Martis Drayke must gather his own army to protect
his lands. He will need to seek old and new allies to help him with this great task. I liked that I was able to fall into a well written fantasy land and see the characters come to life. Gail Z. Martin has created a well thought out and planned world in which she set her book. |
